Quote from character; When the Iron Throne gives its word, I am forever at its beck and call, forever one of the loyal Brethren.
Brief historical background; Necal is a farghul, born on farrfin. When he turned 21, his father gave him his own smuggling vessel. Eight years later, his father was in an accident. Believing he was murdered, Necal spent the next 15 years searching for the man who did this. Finding him, Necal killed him in a very painful way; he poured molten silver down his throat and eyes.
After that, Necal didn't know what to do; he was unable to do anything without a purpose anymore, and profit didn't seem to work for him. Deciding to give himself a purpose, Necal spent the next four years searching for a purpose to his life. Finally, one of his crew suggested seeking out an independent group of force users; it was well known that force users could lose themselves in study.
Seeing it as an escape route, Necal left his crew, abandoned most of his posessions, and began searching for a group of force users. A year later, he found a dieing sith. Necal promised him a quick death for information about where he could learn. After the sith told him, and Necal ended his life, Necal set out to Morroth, a prison planet, and encountered the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Entering into the order, Necal quickly found a master in Kal Vorrac.
However, he had an argument with the Sith. Eventually, he angered the man to the point where Kal knocked him out, put him on a shuttlecraft, and left him a written message; Return when you are strong, or don't.
Realizing his mistake, Necal quickly sought out other force users to teach him what he needed. Though he has found a group of saberists, he finds himself lacking in a teacher of the force, and he is currently searching for something to fill that void.
That's actually a lot shorter than it was at first.
